Broughton Youth Football Club 2010/2011

Season review

The club enjoyed another very successful season with all three teams enjoying some great performances and results.

Ian Dowson’s under 18 side competed very well despite being made up of 15 and 16 year olds. Nick Mabey’s under 11 team enjoyed their last season on the small pitch with some excellent performances. And Jonny Boyce’s under 8s had a fantastic first year.

The season ended on a high with a great celebration event held in beautiful spring conditions at the sports field. Over 150 people enjoyed football matches, a barbecue and the presentation of the season’s awards.

At the AGM that followed Nick Mabey was re-elected as Chairman of the club. Laura Boyce was re-elected as club secretary and Paula Wilson as treasurer. Deb Barlow kindly took on the role of Child Welfare officer.

2011/2012 Season

Next season we are delighted to be able to field 4 teams in the Testway Youth League. They are:

If you would like to get involved with the football club we would be delighted to hear from you. We welcome players, coaches, referees and sponsors and would encourage you to make contact if you are interested, or even just curious. We can provide training courses for prospective coaches and referees.
